Join the U.S. Green Building Council-Illinois Chapter's Rockford Branch for our upcoming program, Where does all the water go? Water to Water Re-use to Treatment Innovations.

Innovative technologies to conserve water resources & protect the environment, water is our most valuable resource. Our great lakes have 3 of the 5 largest fresh water bodies of water in the world.  We take it for granted, but the rest of the United States and the world take it very seriously. The event will focus on the life cycle of fresh water  supplies as people are seriously running short.

The first ½ of the presentation will discuss out water resources and the current  implementation of grey water to reduce fresh water demand in the state of Illinois.

The second ½ of the event will explain what happens to all that used water and how it the waste water is treated and integrated back into the environment.  Many buildings are incorporating treatment systems, and innovative municipal  technologies have come a long way to reduce environmental impacts.
