LEED 252: Introduction to LEED v4: Key Concepts & Strategies
Explore key foundational concepts of LEED v4. Experts share background on the development process of LEED v4, what it means for project teams, the structure of rating system, and how its flexibility lends itself to wider use. This session takes an in depth look at the role of an integrative process and how it supports higher levels of building performance. Participants will gain an understanding of how LEED v4 has been structured to improve project teams’ experience and streamline efforts.       

This session is registered for 1.0 LEED-Specific GBCI hours (BD+C, ID+C, EBOM, HOMES, ND) as well as 1.0 AIA LU hours.

  • Identify the development process of LEED v4
  • Recognize key improvements from previous versions of LEED designed to improve the user experience
  • Describe LEED’s adaptability to meet specific project needs
  • Describe the way LEED v4 emphasizes the importance of an integrative process
