We are tapping into the knowledge of three of Illinois' strongest green schools advocates! Join this panel--boasting over 75 years of experience working with schools--for their discussions on case studies, real world experience, and startling data about the state of the industry.

This interactive panel will discuss: 

  • Opportunities associated with operating green schools--including real world challenges and best practices
  • The state of the art in cost-effective green building design using case studies that highlight how teams overcame technical, financial and political hurdles to set a high bar for school design that meets programmatic and environmental goals
  • The near and long-term future, analyzing the impacts of current innovative school designs, major technological challenges that lie ahead, and opportunities to leverage those challenges into developmental opportunities for districts and students alike
