Join the USGBC-Illinois Emerging Professionals for National Rebuilding Together Day 2013.

Volunteers will be painting classrooms and landscaping at the Envision Frick Center for adults with special needs.  Chapter volunteers will be working alongside volunteers from Safeway and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.  The clients at the Frick Center have been growing and selling vegetables at a local farmer's market for the past few years.  This year, they've received a grant for a new greenhouse to be built later this Spring.  The Rebuilding Together volunteers will compliment this growing enterprise by building raised gardening beds to replace their current, inadequate beds.  We will also be painting four classrooms and other interior spaces

Bring your gardening gloves and join us to support this great organization.

Rebuilding Together * Metro Chicago is part of a national nonprofit program which sponsors National Rebuilding Day across the country on the last Saturday in April.  This one-day community service project where teams assist families across the metro-region in a variety of home improvement projects has been an annual community outreach project for the Emerging Professionals for more than 3 years.
