Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
Opening in June 2012, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago resolves a unique set of technical engineering challenges emerging from the vertical reorganization of conventionally horizontal spaces, the demanding integration of engineered systems and structural strategies.

The new 23-story facility has 288 beds, 22 ORs (4 hybrid), expandable imaging facilities, offices that convert into additional patient rooms, and a fully flexible clinical BSL-3 laboratory. The hospital adopted 10 guiding principles for the building aimed at constructing an environmentally sustainable facility with the most advanced technology available.

Aqua Lakeshore East

Aqua at Lakeshore East is an architecturally acclaimed 82-story tower designed to comply with LEED certification. Aqua's Chicago condos are part of the 28-acre Lakeshore East community located where the Chicago River meets Lake Michigan adjacent to Millennium Park and the Loop Business District.

Guided by a team of LEED-accredited professionals, Aqua has been built to eco-friendly LEED standards.  Along with the sun-shading balconies and low E-tinted glass that help maintain  optimal temperature control and the extensively landscaped roof garden, Aqua also boasts such features as energy-efficient appliances and plumbing fixtures, and the Midwest’s first public electric car-charging stations in an all-underground parking garage.
