Join the USGBC - Illinois Chapter's South Suburban Branch for Clean Up Day with Calumet Waterway Stewards.

Calumet Waterway Stewards has organized a clean-up of a 7-mile section of the Little Calumet River between South Holland, IL and Blue Island, IL.  Volunteers will have an opportunity to paddle canoes or kayaks (provided at no cost or bring your own) or participate in on-shore clean-up activities along the river and gather at the park afterward. Transportation from the park back to the launch site is provided as well.

Be part of the  South Suburban Branch 2012 community event and support the Calumet Waterway Steward's inaugural year!

Everyone that registers is invited to stay for our afternoon party featuring food, music, and a Fay’s Point paddle tour!

Thank you to Schneider Electric for supporting the event on behalf of the Chapter.
