Join the USGBC - Illinois Chapter's Chicago Branch for a group webinar viewing of "LEED 250: LEED Innovation & Pilot Credits - Demand Response."

The Illinois Chapter has purchased a webinar subscription to offer archived versions of USGBC's live webinars in group settings in order to offer LEED Specific credential maintenance opportunities to our members. Each month you will have the opportunity to earn 1.5 GBCI hours at one of our group webinar viewings.

Session Description:
Approximately one third of the power grid load is attributable to the building community.  Reducing dependency on fossil fuel peak generation address our electric grid infrastructure and reliability needs, acts as a balancing agent for renewable generation and enables the achievement of environmental goals for both the energy and building sectors.  Join representatives from USGBC, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratories and Environmental Defense Fund as we explore the benefits, barriers and opportunities to demand response in commercial buildings.

This session is approved for 1.5 hours of LEED Specific (BD+C, ID+C, O+M, HOMES, ND) GBCI hours as well as 1.5 AIA/CES LU/HSW/SD hours.

Upcoming sessions:
  • May 23 - The Evolution of LEED: Materials and Resources
  • June 27 - Strategies for Success in LEED: Water Use Reduction (WEp1)
  • July 25 - O+M Green Operations & Multi-tenant Engagement
