Join Illinois Green Alliance for Commercial Buildings, Utilities, and HVAC Water Treatment. This presentation taught attendees how improper water treatment can negatively affect energy efficiency, with a panel discussion over various energy saving water treatment projects, known as HVAC or “Process” water treatment.

This program was taught by Brian Burgess, Director of Education and Compliance at Global Water Technology and Associate Professor at Triton College. As part of this program, attendees learned what aspects of energy are being used in various HVAC systems including boilers, cooling towers, and hydronic water loops. The panel discussion involved multiple disciplines who have experience in managing commercial real estate buildings and portfolios and their direct experience with energy saving water treatment projects. Viewers received both an insight into energy saving opportunities, which are not typically publicized, and practical knowledge they can introduce to their projects.
