Join the USGBC-Illinois Chicago Branch for Waste Minimization and Zero Waste Strategies (Approved for 1.5 hrs GBCI CE and 1.0 AIA LU|HSW|SD hours).

Zero waste has been a controversial topic within the sustainability world. The course will enable you to differentiate between concepts and goals of recycling, reuse, zero-landfill, and zero-waste.

The course will also assist your organization in developing a program beyond recycling that includes waste reduction strategies, closed loop solutions, and supply chain management. In the design and construction realm, it is imperative to consider waste conveyance design and this course will help identify best practices.
