Join the USGBC - Illinois Chapter's Rockford/Northern Illinois Branch for their first program of 2012.

At this January program, presenters will discuss the value of the Building Commissioning (Cx) process as it applies to both LEED-NC and LEED-EB. Focus will be on ASHRAE Standards and how Cx should be integrated early in the Design Process. Many local examples of successful projects and pitfalls in both NC and EB will be presented and discussed.

Also included will be a presentation on value of Building Envelope Commissioning, which is not a LEED standard, as yet, except in the Healthcare area. A Case Study of a recent University of Wisconsin building will be presented.

Jeffrey Conner PE, Chairman - Grumman/Butkus Associates/Wisconsin - Jeff is long time member of the Building Commissioning Association (BCA) and is on their Board of Directors. He as several years experience in CX for LEED buildings in Illinois, Wisconsin, and around the Country.
Marshall Hjertstedt, President - MFH Associates - Marshall is an Architect and Structural Engineer. He has several years experience in Exterior Envelope analysis and construction. He is also a member of BCA.
