PHIUS+ Source Zero provides a conservation first design methodology to net zero building with quality assurance throughout design and construction. It emphasizes utilizing passive building techniques to reduce both annual and peak energy consumption. This workshop will cover the evolution of passive building including principles and development of the standard. It will also dive into the certification requirements and provide brief demonstration of the WUFI Passive energy model, which is used for design and compliance.
