USGBC - Illinois Chapter at BuildEx!

Join experts from dbHMS to discuss how to green your aging mechanical systems to save on operating costs and improve building performance. During this session, panelists will explain how to evaluate upgrades in existing buildings and evaluate whether energy modeling makes sense for an existing building. Participants will learn how to compare your mechanical systems’ energy performance to similar buildings using Energy Star’s Portfolio Manager and how to analyze current mechanical system operation sequences and schedules. This session will also cover what is involved in the retro-commissioning process, how to improve the efficiency of existing building systems and learn through case study projects what works and doesn’t work in aging buildings

Presenter:  Sanchin Anand LEED AP, Principal, dbHMS
