USGBC - Illinois Chapter at BuildEx!

Join LEED for Existing Buildings experts at Jones Lang LaSalle for a panel discussion of building owners and managers that have managed the retrofitting process of older downtown Chicago buildings.  The discussion will focus on green retrofits completed as part of the LEED process (including retrofits leading up to, during and following LEED certification).  Highlighted projects will include lighting retrofits, HVAC system upgrades / replacements, BAS system upgrades, and BAS / system optimization resulting from retro-commissioning projects.   General managers will share their success at obtaining ComEd Rebates for energy efficiency projects, how these projects have reduced energy and positively impacted their Energy Star rating, and how one property was selected as a test site for Clean Urban Energy.

Moderator: Helee Hilman, Jones Lang LaSalle.
Panelists: Maria Devore, General Manager,  550 W. Washington – LEED Platinum
Julia Frey, General Manager, 225 W. Wacker – LEED Gold
Danica Munson, General Manager, 55 W. Monroe – LEED Gold
