Join Illinois Green for an upcoming panel discussion exploring building efficiency and IoT at the end of June!

Internet of Things, a.k.a. IoT, means that new tools and resources are available for tracking, controlling, and reporting on the energy efficiency of our built environment. How can smart building technology optimize energy usage and reduce environmental impact and operating costs, while providing valuable data to drive decision-making for the future of built environments? Moderated by Clean Energy Trust, and hosted at the Chicago Connectory, this panel will present a deep dive into what IoT means for buildings and for the people who live and work in them.

Speakers include:

  • Paul Seidler, Director of Venture Development at Clean Energy Trust (Moderator)
  • Danielle DuMerer, CIO & Commissioner of Department of Innovation and Technology for City of Chicago
  • Dan Docel, Director of Sales at BuildingIQ
  • Mike Romanco, Senior Director at Cypress Envirosystems
