Are you interested in learning how you can improve your facility's waste management practices, or how you can start composting at home? Or are you just inspired by the recent Earth Day challenge of ending Plastic Pollution? 

Join the Illinois Green Alliance Emerging Professionals on May 8th to learn more about how you can start recyclingcompostingwater saving and reducing the carbon footprint of your home, office or organization. You'll be joined by expert speakers - Carter O'Brien, Sustainability Officer at The Field Museum, Mike Stopka, Principal at MIST and a Lead at Delta Institute and Stephanie Katsaros, Founder and President at Bright Beat - along with other sustainability professionals who are passionate about bringing sustainable solutions to the community

This discussion will be one of several other discussions happening around Chicago on this day as part of the Chicago Community Trust initiative that encourages individual meet ups focused around open dialogue and bettering our communities.
