Program Description:
Al Manshum, Advocate Health Care’s Vice President Facilities and Construction will discuss the process of developing a corporate strategy for sustainable building in the Healthcare industry.  His presentation will include sustainability challenges,  culture changes, developing standards and measuring success.  The presentation will be supported with examples of sustainable construction and operation strategies.  At the end of the presentation Al will share his vision for sustainability will look like in the future.

Learning Objectives:
This program will help the audience understand how to get buy-in from Health Care Executives and the steps needed to lead a Health Care facility or Health Care client toward sustainability. The speaker will also review the unique obstacles confronted when working toward Green Health Care and how to drive sustainable results.

Event Location: Networking and registration will be held in the Grainger Atrium. The presentation will be given in the Olson Auditorium. See the campus map. The walk from the designated parking lot to the program is approximate 10 minutes, give yourself enough time!

Parking Information: Please use the Center for Advanced Care Parking lot.  See Map.  Advocate has arranged a special parking fee of $3.00 per vehicle.  It is not the closest lot to the event but the Hospital's concern is that patients and families should have closest access.  Bring your parking ticket to the registration to be stamped for this special parking rate.
