Join USGBC-Illinois for a case study and tour highlighting Loyola Medical Center’s new Center for Translational Research and Education (CTRE). Loyola's CTRE project team members will discuss the strategies chosen for the project, sustainability goals and construction challenges that were overcome.


The Center for Translational Research and Education incorporated many cutting edge technologies which reduce energy use throughout a multi-use project. Attendees will hear about how specific technologies were implemented such as district heating and cooling, chilled beams, natural ventilation and daylighting strategies.  A tour of the project will follow the presentation.
