Join us for a panel presentation and building tour with nationally renowned, sustainability-focused developer, Gerding Edlen, at its newest high rise multifamily project, Xavier, at 625 W. Division on March 24 from 5:00 – 6:30 PM.

Multifamily buildings have dominated the new construction landscape with apartment towers accounting for 21 of 34 active projects. Learn how Gerding Edlen, headquartered in Portland, OR, is differentiating itself in the market by planting its deep green roots in Chicago.

Designed by GREC Architects, the 18-story tower is seeking LEED Gold certification and features high tech offerings like electric car charging stations, finishes made from sustainable materials, smart meters and Nest thermostats. Our interdisciplinary panel includes representatives from the developer, the architect and the ComEd New Construction team that supported the project’s energy efficiency goals with energy modeling and financial incentives.

Enjoy refreshments during the program followed by a guided tour of the building. Attendance is limited so early registration is encouraged.

Sponsored by the ComEd New Construction Service and in partnership with Seventhwave.
