USGBC-Illinois invites you and your organization to participate as an attendee, sponsor or exhibitor at the Illinois Healthy & High Performing Schools Symposium, hosted by the USGBC-Illinois Chapter and the Association for Learning Environments on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy located in the historic Chicago Pullman neighborhood.

The Symposium is an opportunity for the K-12 community to connect and exchange ideas and includes an opening plenary, breakout sessions, exhibits, and opportunities to network with those who are committed to greening Illinois' schools.  Attendees include school and district administrators, regional superintendents, school board members, facilities managers and custodial staff, teachers, school health practitioners, facility planners and architects, school-related non-profits and agencies, and high school student environmental leaders.

The opening plenary will feature national guest speakers Rachel Gutter, Senior Vice President of Knowledge at the U.S. Green Building Council and Director for the Center for Green Schools and Dina Sorensen, VMDO Architects, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C.
