It’s Earth Week the world over and the EPs are banding together to contribute!

Join us Saturday, April 25th at the Bill Jarvis Migratory Bird Sanctuary from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm to help weed, collect seed, and plant in and around this protected area. Sanctuary volunteers will be provided with tools and work gloves as necessary. The area consists of marshy areas and thick brush, so dress accordingly – this means work or rain boots, jeans, and long sleeves to protect yourself.

We will meet before 9:00 am at the Jarvis “shed” – the garage located on the south side of Addison Drive (the Northeast corner of the Sanctuary along the road leading to the Marovitz Golf Course). Volunteers can park for free in the Marovitz lot after getting a parking pass at the Shed.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day from Ann Sather’s and volunteers will be invited to join us afterwards at a patio in Wrigley. We hope to see you!  To join our event, click here.
