Join USGBC-Illinois for a program and tour highlighting Loyola Medical Center’s commitment to reduce their impact on the environment. Loyola School of Nursing project team members will discuss the strategies chosen for the project, sustainability goals and construction challenges that were overcome.

The project incorporated many cutting edge technologies which reduce energy use throughout a multi-use project. Attendees will hear about how specific technologies were implemented such as radiant slab systems, solar chimneys and deconstruction efforts. A tour of the project may be possible.
