It is a common misconception that LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance (EBOM) can be an arduous and expensive endeavor. However, with a bit of creativity and a good strategy, that is not always the case.

Join USGBC-Illinois and Josh Schubert, Director of Energy Engineering at Goby, LLC, to de-mystify this school of thought and come away with actionable items to get going in the right direction towards a sustainable building efficiently, strategically, and cost effectively.  Furthermore, we will discuss the role that ENERGY STAR plays in LEED, and how legislation is shaping its future. Energy Star Portfolio Manager will be discussed also as a stand alone beginning building strategy.

Stop by the brewpub for a microbrew of Rockford’s newest brewery (cash bar). Soft drinks, water, and appetizers will be provided.

Thank you to our program sponsors for this great event!
