Power plants in the U.S. produce around one-third of the countries carbon emissions. In June of 2014, the U.S. EPA released the Clean Power Plan Proposed Rule. The standards set state-specific goals to be met by 2030 in order to reduce carbon emissions from existing power plants by 30% below 2005 levels.

With the final rule set for release this summer, we all have interest and questions about the proposed Clean Power Plan and how it will impact energy efficiency and businesses in Chicago and throughout Illinois. Join us for a presentation from members well-versed on the proposed rule and learn what it could mean for the future of energy efficiency and green building companies in Illinois.

This education and networking event is an excellent opportunity to continue the discussion on the Clean Power Plan and to network with fellow green-minded individuals in Illinois.
