Power plants in the U.S. produce around one-third of the countries carbon emissions. In June of 2014, President Obama and the EPA proposed a rule that would eventually devalue generators of high levels of carbon emissions and encourage cleaner energy producers, like renewable energy.

We all have interest and questions about the EPA's new Clean Energy Planned Proposal and the comment period has been extended to December 1st!

Join USGBC-Illinois and IGBA for a panel of speakers well-versed on the new plan and learn what the proposed plan could mean for energy efficiency and green building companies in Illinois.

We welcome panelists Cassandra Kubes from Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Dr. Don Wuebbles, professor of Atmospheric Science at U of I, and Mike Royse from Center for Community Adaptation.

This education and networking event is an excellent opportunity to get the discussion started about the Clean Energy Plan and to network with fellow green-minded individuals in Illinois.

Registration: Space is limited, so register today!

This event is complementary for all USGBC-Illinois and IGBA members.

Co-hosted by USGBC-Illinois, Illinois Green Business Association, and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.
