Join the USGBC-Illinois Chapter's Rockford Branch for our upcoming program, Best Swedish Practices in Residential Construction.

Don't miss this great opportunity to tour the Swedish Standard House.  Rockford is home to a very large Swedish population so it was no surprise the Lidkoping Municipality chose the City of Rockford to build this unique home.

It is like no other house in the United States, and unique in it's own way.  The house was built with the help of high school students from both De la Gardiegymnasiest, Sweden and East High in Rockford.

Tour includes a short presentation sharing the Swedish approach to energy-efficiency.
