What is LEED and why is it important?  What is a green roof?  What can I do to be more sustainable at home?  To discuss all of these topics and more, you're invited to attend this event!

Join us at the historic Monk's Pub in Chicago's Loop as the USGBC - Illinois Chapter hosts an evening of networking for residents, businesses, or those just wanting to discuss sustainable living in the urban environment.  Come and meet other sustainably-minded people from the area and discuss environmental issues facing the neighborhood.

In the spirit of the holiday season, we will be collecting new hats, gloves, scarves, or gift cards in any amount to clothing or electronic stores for the youth of UCAN.  UCAN serves more than 13,000 underprivileged children and families in Illinois each year.  Help make the holidays a little brighter for these children with a donation!  If you can't attend the event, but you'd like to make a donation to UCAN, please drop off your donation to either the USGBC - Illinois Chapter office in the Merchandise Mart or Monk's Pub prior to the event.

Loop and River North area business owners, residents, neighborhood leaders, and USGBC - Illinois Chapter members are welcome to attend!

Registration for this event will be $20 for Chapter members and $25 for non-members or you can join or renew your membership with USGBC - Illinois Chapter to receive a discounted registration fee for this event.  Just select the appropriate box when registering.
